David was very well informed on all of the dangers of opioid drug use. He spoke in great detail about the harms that it does to your body; short term and long term. Some of these things I have learned before working in the recovery field. Although there are many things he opened my eyes to.
Watching David demonstrate the proper way to administer Narcan was very informative. Working as a reporter there is a high chances you may come across some one who has overdosed. We are now well equipped with the knowledge of how to save them. Call 911, apply first nose, wait 1-2 minutes, apply second nose. I plan on teaching other people what David has taught me so everyone can be informed on the dangers of opioid use.
