I thought the presentation by Carol of Angels in Motion was one of the most interesting of the semester. Her story is one of the first we have seen of people on the ground, mostly in Kensington, providing food and other services those struggling with substance use disorder.

One of the most common things Carol and her team do is helping someone get an ID. Most people view this as an easy task, but there are overlooked obstacles such as the cost of getting an ID, and transportation to and from the DMV. Little things like this make a big difference, and Carol and her team are making that difference in Kensington every day.
